Red Dead Redemption 2 Emerges for Nintendo Switch

Can we also play Red Dead Redemption 2 on Nintendo Switch soon? According to the Brazilian rating board, yes. The organization’s website leaked that a Switch version of Rockstar’s western epic is on the way.

The Switch version was spotted by Twitter user @necrolipe. He posted a screenshot of a ranking of Red Read Redemption 2, with the Nintendo Switch listed as a platform alongside PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The game was initially reviewed in September 2018, about a month before the original release. Is the game resurfacing now because a Switch version is coming? That is quite possible.

The timing would certainly not be surprising. After all, the remaster of the first Red Dead Redemption was released on August 17 for Nintendo Switch. It is a logical consequence that the second part will also come to Nintendo’s handheld.

In what form, that remains to be seen, of course. But if The Witcher 3 is possible on console, Red Dead Redemption 2 should also be possible. Let’s not forget that there are a lot of rumors about the successor to the Switch. That console would be as strong as the PS4 and Xbox One. In that respect, a Switch version of Red Dead Redemption 2 is completely plausible.
