Jabba’s Gambit – A Star Wars Outlaws Drama

Ubisoft Acknowledges Concerns Regarding Star Wars Outlaws' Exclusive Jabba the Hutt Mission

Ubisoft has taken note of the community’s concerns regarding the inclusion of a Season Pass-exclusive mission featuring Jabba the Hutt in Star Wars Outlaws. The decision to lock the “Jabba’s Gambit” mission behind the Season Pass has sparked discussions among players, prompting Ubisoft to respond with sincerity.

Recognizing the passion of fans and their desire for transparency, Ubisoft clarified that while Jabba the Hutt and the Hutt Cartel are central to the Star Wars Outlaws experience, the “Jabba’s Gambit” mission is designed as optional, additional content. This mission follows the journey of characters Kay and Nix across the Outer Rim and will be available exclusively to Season Pass holders or those who purchase editions containing the Season Pass.

To clarify, Jabba the Hutt and the Hutt Cartel are one of the main syndicates in Star Wars Outlaws and will be part of the experience for everyone who purchases the game, regardless of edition.

The ‘Jabba’s Gambit’ mission is an optional, additional mission with the Hutt Cartel along Kay and Nix’s journey across the Outer Rim. This mission will be available to those who purchase the season pass or an edition of the game which includes the season pass.

The studio understands the importance of clear communication and is committed to addressing any confusion surrounding the availability of the mission to all players in the future. While details are still being finalized, Ubisoft assures players that their feedback is valued and will be taken into consideration.

Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment, is set to release on August 30, 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
